Jim McWhirter has been a builder and developer for over 30 years. Jim specializes in retirement communities and assisted living communities. He is an Oklahoma State Licensed Administrator and Registered Food Services Operator. He currently serves as a chairman of the Oklahoma Assisted Living Association as well as a Governor’s appointed member of the Long Term Care Advisory Board. Jim has been married to Lisa since 1972 and they have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
Joyce has worked at Wellington Parke since 2017. She retired as an LPN then came to work as an evening receptionist which lead her to enjoy interaction with the residents and their families. Joyce currently serves as the Administrative Assistant to our Director of Nursing. She has 2 daughters and 7 grandchildren. Joyce says, "I love working at Wellington Parke!"
Ariel has been a part of Wellington Parke since 2018. She first came into our Wellington Parke Family as a Certified Nurse Aide in our Assisted Living and later our Enriched Living. As a child living in a retired neighborhood in Duncan, OK. Ariel enjoyed sitting on the porch having a conversation with her elderly neighbors or helping them with small things around the house and yard. Ariel has been a CNA since 2014, In December of 2019 riel became Lifestyle Director of the Wellington Parke Community. She loves to get the residents in the groove of doing some of the things they use to do at their own homes as well as learning new things from them.
Darla has worked at Wellington Parke since 2015 as a housekeeping manager, CNA. She has love and passion for our adult aged residents that live here on a daily basis. Darla lives in Choctaw with her husband, has 2 sons, and 2 grandsons. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially outdoor activities.
Fidelia has been a part of Wellington Parke since 2012. She received her bachelors degree in Family Studies from Oklahoma Christian University in 2008. Fidelia has been working with seniors for over 10 years and greatly enjoys being part of her residents lives, she loves coming to work everyday. Fidelia especially enjoys being one of the first people potential residents and families meet. When away from work, Fidelia enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys.
Ann has worked at Wellington Parke since 2009 in both marketing and reception. She has 20 years of experience in customer service and sales. Ann has a love and passion for working with people, and finds working at Wellington Parke very rewarding. She has been married to Richard since 1972. Together they have 2 children and 2 beautiful grandchildren, Hope and Sam. Ann enjoys antiquing, refinishing and interior decorating. Most of all she loves taking care of little Sam one day a week.
Brenda has worked for Wellington Parke since 2014. She is an Advanced Certified Medication Aide and lives in Oklahoma City. Brenda has one son and enjoys socializing and making people laugh. Her leisure activities include spending time with family, friends, and sampling new restaurants in the area. Her passion is working in environments that allow her to interact with an array of people. The residents and staff are the reasons Brenda has remained a committed employee at Wellington Parke. To sum it up, Brenda loves people!
Bryan Newton is Wellington Parke’s head chef. Bryan received his education and training from both Francis Tuttle and OSU- Institution of Technology. Bryan has been at Wellington Parke since 2013. Since then, he has transformed the kitchen into a 90% scratch kitchen where all food is cooked to order. Bryan says that Wellington Parke allows him to spend time with his wife, daughter, and son. Bryan loves Wellington Parke because of the Christian environment, the residents, and the “residents first” attitude set by the owner. In 2016 Bryan finished as one of the top 5 chefs in the Oklahoma Silver Spoon competition.
Krista has worked at Wellington Parke since 2011. Krista has experience as a nurse aide and medication aide. Krista lives in Midwest City with her husband, daughter and their four rescue dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and is passionate about rescuing animals. Krista believes that Wellington Parke is not just a job, but it's a home away from home. She considers the residents part of her family and some of them consider her their best friend.
